Dinse welcomes new attorney

Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew is pleased to announce that Daniel R Sharpe joined the firm as Of Counsel in May. Mr Sharpe will be working with the firm’s employment practice group, advising clients on employee benefit plan design, administration, and compliance, ERISA, and executive compensation. Mr Sharpe has considerable experience in all aspects of employee benefits law. Much of his recent work has been focused on fiduciary performance and risk management. He has advised management and administrative committees as well as union plans.

The 2017 edition of Chambers USA, a leading directory of American lawyers and law firms, recognized 10 Dinse attorneys in their practice areas. The new guide, released May 26, 2017, also recognizes the firm as among Vermont’s best in every category of practice. Dr Sandra Steingard presents at APA

Howard Center’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Sandra Steingard chaired a symposium, “The Dilemma of Antipsychotic Drugs: When to Start and When to Stop,” at the May 2017 American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in San Diego. She also presented a talk, “Critical Psychiatry and the Treatment of Psychosis: Clinical and Ethical Dilemmas and a Framework for their Resolution” at the Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry.

VHFA announces the promotion of Kim Roy

Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Kim Roy has been promoted to Director of Multifamily Asset Management and Compliance at VHFA. She began her career at the Agency in 1989 in the Communication's Department and has held a variety of positions with VHFA. Kim most recently served as Assistant Director of Multifamily Programs. She will take over department leadership from recently retired Sam Falzone. "Kim has been a long-term, dedicated employee of VHFA for 28 years and we are so pleased she is taking on this new role." said Sarah Carpenter, VHFA's Executive Director.
