Brown new associate VP for development at St Michael’s College

Krystyna Davenport Brown started work November 13 as Associate Vice President for Development. Most recently she was the Senior Director of Development for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support at the University of South Carolina. Prior to that she was in Austin, Texas at the University of Texas at Austin and Saint Edward's University. She moved to Austin from New York City where she worked at Fordham University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital in fundraising and development roles.

Governor Phil Scott has appointed Mary Daly of Peacham to serve on the Vermont Commission on Women (VCW), the state’s non-partisan commission working to advance rights and opportunities for women and girls. “Mary has a long history of public service, and has demonstrated a deep commitment to her community. Youth Safety Council Director Lockridge receives award

The Governor’s Highway Safety Program recently presented its annual ‘Lifesaver of the Year’ award to James Lockridge, Executive Director of the Youth Safety Council of Vermont. The award was presented by Governor Phil Scott, Chief of the Vermont Governor's Highway Safety Program Keith Flynn, Vermont Motor Vehicle Commissioner Robert Ide and GHSP Financial Manager Allison Laflamme at a ceremony during the Vermont Highway Safety Alliance Annual Meeting on November 8.

Vermont Public Radio welcomes new board members, elects officers for 2018

Vermont Public Radio has elected two new members to its Board of Directors to serve three-year terms: Joyce Judy of Waterbury is president of Community College of Vermont, having previously served as dean of students and provost of the College. She is recognized as a statewide leader in the development of Vermont’s Dual Enrollment Program for high school students, and she has overseen the broad expansion of CCV’s workforce education initiatives, including the Governor’s Career Ready Certificate program.
