UVM's Heading-Grant receives Leadership Award from National Association of Diversity Officers
Wanda Heading-Grant, vice president for Human Resources, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at The University of Vermont, has received an Inclusive Excellence Award in the Individual Leadership category from the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE), one of only two awards the organization grants annually.
NADOHE recognized Heading-Grant at its annual conference recently in Washington, DC.

Vermont Foodbank welcomes Tieman to Board of Directors

ACS CAN names Costa Vermont State Government Relations Director
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) has named award winning broadcast journalist Jennifer Costa, of Burlington, as Vermont government relations director. In this post, Costa will oversee advocacy efforts promoting evidence-based policy and legislative solutions designed to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
VSCS inducts six into Hall of Fame and raises nearly $100,000 in scholarship funds
Five prominent alumni and one former faculty member joined the VSCS Hall of Fame at the third annual celebration at Montpelier’s Capital Plaza last night. 300 guests included Governor Scott, former Governor Douglas, legislative leaders and members, VSCS Trustees and Presidents, students, faculty and staff. The event raised nearly $100,000 for scholarships.
