Landry of OneDigital Health and Benefits promoted to Account Manager

Marissa Landry has worked at OneDigital since 2017, first as an Administrative Assistant and then as a Client Service Specialist. In these roles Marissa supported the sales and client management staff by assisting with group enrollments, renewal processes and additional administrative functions designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness, and client responsiveness.

Seven Days hires Kate O’Neill for a new reporting project on the opioid epidemic

Burlington-based weekly Seven Days has launched a yearlong reporting project chronicling the opioid epidemic in Vermont and efforts to address it. The designated writer of “Hooked: Stories and Solutions From Vermont’s Opioid Crisis” is Kate O’Neill, who has personal experience with the crisis: Her sister, Burlington mom Madelyn Linsenmeir, died last October after years battling addiction.

Chamber announces new Vice President of Tourism & Marketing

Catherine Davis, Executive Vice President of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, announced a recent addition to the Chamber’s staff: Jeff Lawson joined the Chamber in January as Vice President of Tourism & Marketing. Lawson will lead the Chamber’s work to market Burlington as a premier tourism destination through a new regional marketing organization as well as heading the Vermont Convention Bureau, which brings meetings and events to Vermont. Prior to joining the Chamber, Jeff was the principal and owner of Apiary Media, a visual media firm.

Kupersmith joins VEOC team as Program & Outreach Coordinator

The Vermont Employee Ownership Center (VEOC) Co-Executive Directors, Don Jamison and Matt Cropp, announced Michele Kupersmith of South Burlington has joined the organization as Program & Outreach Coordinator. She will be responsible for the VEOC’s overall communication and marketing duties, helping the organization spread the word about employee ownership to business owners, employees and the general public.
