Bombardier named Vermont’s 2019 Engineer of the Year
Janette K Bombardier, PE, has been named Vermont’s 2019 Engineer of the Year. Ms. Bombardier is Chief Technology Officer of Chroma Technology located in Rockingham, VT. Ms Bombardier was selected for this award based on her technical accomplishments, stature in the profession, contributions to professional organizations, and involvement in the community. Ms Bombardier received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering magna cum laude at the University of Vermont in 1980 and her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at UVM in 1984.
Gendron named Vermont’s 2019 Young Engineer of the Year
Christopher Gendron, PE, has been named Vermont’s 2019 Young Engineer of the Year. Mr Gendron was selected for this award based on his educational achievements, professional society activities, professional accomplishments, and civic involvement. Mr Gendron graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering cum laude from Norwich University in 2010. He was vice president of Norwich student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. He obtained his Vermont Professional Engineering license in 2015.
