Carlson joins Lake Homes Realty

Dave Carlson has recently joined the Lake Homes Realty team as a licensed Realtor® specializing in lake properties on and around Lake Champlain. “Lakefront property sellers and potential lake real estate buyers deserve the lake-specific platform LakeHomes.com provides,” said Carlson. “I am proud to help bring the company’s unique service to Vermont.”

SVMC recognizes medical staff

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center's (SVMC) medical staff was recognized at an annual event on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at the Bennington Museum. Jennifer Thuermer, DNP, ACNP, of SVMC Cardiology, was awarded the 2019 Professional Teamwork Award. Thuermer earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Regis College in Weston, MA. She joined SVMC in 2000 after receiving her Master of Science and Post-Master Certificate as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) from Sage Graduate School. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Colby-Sawyer College.

Braun joins DRM’s Lebanon office

Attorney Amy R Braun of Lebanon has joined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC and will practice in the Labor and Employment Group. She began work at the firm on March 25 and works in the firm’s Lebanon office. “As our employment practice has grown in the Upper Valley, we have been looking for the right attorney to join our practice,” said Beth Rattigan, chair of the Labor and Employment Practice at DRM. “Amy brings the right combination of academic achievement, legal experience and knowledge of the area to help us meet the needs of employers in the region.”
