Wake Robin announces Martha Maksym as new President and CEO

The Board of Directors at Wake Robin, Vermont’s first lifecare community, announced today that Martha Maksym will take over as President and CEO following Patrick McKee’s retirement from Wake Robin next month. The Board of Directors, Wake Robin residents and staff thank Mr. McKee for his five years of dedicated service to the community and are pleased to begin the next chapter with Maksym as leader.

Burlington Cigna employee receives fellowship to bring innovative “Sheds” model to Vermont

OneCare Vermont has partnered with Cigna’s Community Ambassador Fellowship program to reduce social isolation and build resiliency for older Vermonters. Alison Hemphill, a Senior Account Manager in Cigna’s Burlington office, was selected as a 2020 Fellow and will work with OneCare Vermont’s primary prevention team to launch a “Sheds” initiative as they aim to improve social connections for older residents and create a space where members can contribute their skills to the needs of the broader community.

Shires Young Professionals name Figueroa new chair

The Shires Young Professionals (SYP), a sub group under the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce, recently named Alex Figueroa as the new chair of the group. Figueroa is currently the BluePrint Care Coordinator with the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

The mission of the Shires Young Professionals group is to help young professionals and families create deep roots in the community that encourage them to stay and build a prosperous life in the Southwestern Vermont region. The group looks to “engage, emerge, and empower” young professionals throughout the region.

Cari Heibel-Briner joins Adam Hergenrother Training as President of Coaching. Cari was previously a top producing real estate agent in Minnesota for 10 years. Then as a team leader, she took her market center to the number one real estate office in the state in closed transactions while growing the market center from 80 to over 300 agents with 40 real estate teams, including 10 expansion teams.

Mack announces new hires and promotions
