We are delighted to welcome Josh Bagnato as Chair of REV’s Board. He has served on the board for the past two years, including service as Secretary.

Josh is Vice President of Project Development for Transmission Developers Inc. ("TDI") where he manages development activities with a specific focus on the New England Clean Power Link. Prior to joining TDI, Josh worked for First Wind as well as holding several positions within Massachusetts Government, including serving as the Director of Renewable Energy Policy.

Kirt Sampson, Executive Director and CEO of Equinox Village in Manchester Center, Vermont has announced his retirement, to be effective October 15, 2020.

On Friday, September 11, 2020, members of the Vermont Air National Guard will be joined by Maj. Gen. Gregory Knight, adjutant general, Vermont National Guard, to officially recognize an assumption of authority ceremony for the incoming Command Chief, Chief Master Sgt. Jeffrey Stebbins.

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) is pleased to welcome Surgeon Julie A. DiSano, MD, to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Medical Group and SVMC General Surgery.

“General surgery is an integral part of a large medical group and comprehensive health system,” said Trey Dobson, MD, chief medical officer and medical director of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians. “We are happy to have Dr. DiSano join the accomplished team at SVMC General Surgery.”

Brooke Benoit was presented the Rising Star Award at the Barre Elks Member Recognition Night by per Barb Watters. Watters started this award in 2019 to recognize a new member of the Lodge actively involved in the Lodge and Order. Brooke has volunteered on committees, is an active volunteer, and in April of 2020 was installed as Lodge Chaplain. She has a warm smile and is always willing to lend a hand.

Brooke is a UVM Graduate and is an auditor at National Life. In addition, she is pursuing a Masters Degree.
