The Vermont Medical Society’s Education and Research Foundation (VMSERF) has awarded a $10,000 scholarship to the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine student Adessa Morano. Morano was honored at the Vermont Medical Society’s 207th Annual Meeting held virtually on November 7th, 2020.

Simha Ravven, MD was named president of the Vermont Medical Society (VMS) during its 207th annual meeting November 7th. Dr. Ravven is the Chief Medical Officer of the Howard Center in Burlington, VT and Assistant Clinical Professor in Law and Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Ronald J Cioffi, RN, and CEO of the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR), one of the state’s largest providers of skilled home health and hospice services, announced plans to retire in June of 2021.
