Maia Furnari has joined Copper Leaf Financial as an Office Coordinator. Maia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Sociology from Saint Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Maia brings strong communication and organizational skills that she acquired from previous positions including three years as a Legal Assistant for Langrock, Sperry and Wool, LLP. She will provide extensive support to Copper Leaf’s clients and work closely with the wealth management team to provide operational and administrative assistance.

Veilleux appointed chief people officer at National Life
Michael Veilleux, a longtime human resources executive at National Life, has been appointed Vice President and Chief People Officer. Veilleux has been at National Life since 2008 and has worked in all areas of human resources since then. He started as a recruiter and most recently led the company’s team of business partners. He has also led a drive toward organizational excellence specifically in the operations area of the company.
