United Way of Northwest Vermont, an organization dedicated to improving lives and advancing the common good in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle counties, has hired Nina Lovelace as controller. In this role, Lovelace will provide strategic organizational financial leadership and manage day to-day finance and accounting functions for the organization.

Allison Kuepper, former general counsel at Select Dental Management, has joined the boutique law firm Merritt & Merritt as counsel. Kuepper is a magna cum laude graduate of Middlebury College and earned a law degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served on the editorial board of the Connecticut Law Review. She is a member of the bars of Connecticut and Vermont.
