VEIC, a sustainable energy company based in Winooski, has hired Brian Kealoha as the organization’s first chief growth and impact officer. Based in Honolulu, Kealoha will bring more than two decades of energy and sustainability experience to oversee business development and communications as VEIC seeks to maximize stakeholder engagement and advance its global impact.

Hazel Brewster of Stowe, director of public relations for the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed by Governor Phil Scott to serve on the Vermont Commission on Women, the state’s nonpartisan commission working to advance rights and opportunities for women and girls.

"It's an honor to be appointed to this position by Governor Scott,” Brewster said. “I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent the next generation of Vermont women and to aid in efforts to ensure our state is a place where all women can thrive."
