Community Bank, a subsidiary of Community Financial System, has promoted President of Commercial Banking Matt Durkee to chief banking officer, effective Jan. 2. He succeeds Jeff Levy, who retired at the end of the year following a distinguished banking career.

Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports has named Program Director Felicia Fowler as recipient of its 2025 Kellen Sams Memorial Leadership Award. The award honors the legacy of Kellen Sams, an outdoor educator who died in a 2010 avalanche in Colorado, and recognizes Fowler's steady leadership, deep commitment to inclusion and lasting impact on the organization and the community it serves.
