Soundtivity Wireless, Inc Announces deployment of new NLOS (Non-Line-of-Site) Broadband Wireless network in Grand Isle and South Hero, Vermont
February 21st, 2006. Burlington, Vermont Today, Soundtivity announced the beginning of construction of a wireless telecommunications system that will bring High Speed Internet and other advanced IP services to the Towns of Grand Isle, South Hero, and the Vermont and New York shores of Lake Champlain.
The new system will pave the way to further economic development in the Champlain Valley allowing residents to work from home, local businesses to conduct global commerce, and school children to have access to a wealth of information online all at the speed of thought.

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce is heading to Shanghai from March 30-April 2 to promote Vermont at one of Chinas largest travel industry and consumer shows. The China World Travel Fair (WTF) targets Chinese tour operators, travel agents, and consumers, presenting opportunities for Vermont to enter China's rapidly growing outbound travel market. Over 40,000 travel agents, tour operators and consumers visited the show last year. Shanghai is China's biggest and most affluent city, with a population of over 16 million.
China boasts a population of over 1.3 billion. A full 30 million Chinese took vacations beyond China last year, a number that is expected to swell to over 100 million Chinese individuals traveling by 2015. With many Chinese enjoying rapidly increasing incomes, and freedom to travel abroad, China is widely expected to emerge as one of the world's leading outbound markets within the next decade.

INTRODUCES NEW RENEWABLE
RATE

COLCHESTER, VT . . . Green Mountain Power Corporation
(NYSE:GMP) announced today that its customers now have the choice of buying all
or a portion of their power from renewable resources. The Vermont Public Service
Board has given its final approval to the program, effective
immediately.

Our customers have expressed interest in being able to choose renewable
resources and Im pleased that we will now be able to offer them that choice.
Green Mountain Powers overall power mix is already low in fossil fuels, but
under our new program, customers can choose 100 percent renewable resources,
said Chris Dutton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Mountain
Power. Weve called the program Greener Mountain Power to reflect that
greener choice.

week beginning with visits to Kuwait
and Iraq.

Governor Douglas has been in the Middle East
since Monday. His first stop yesterday was at Camp Arifjan,
Kuwait, where he had dinner
with soldiers from Vermont.

CVPS reorganizes board, adds three Vermonters
RUTLAND Continuing a previously announced plan to restore itself to a financially stable position, Central Vermont Public Service (NYSE-CV) has announced a restructuring of its board of directors.
The restructuring of the board is an important component of our overall goal of returning CVPS to a strong financial position, CVPS Board Chair Frederic H. Bertrand said. Each existing board member has served the company well, but we ve narrowed our focus to the core Vermont business through the sale of Catamount Energy Corp., and we are reorganizing the board to add more Vermont insights and expertise. To maximize board continuity and leadership, the restructuring will occur gradually and incrementally, though some changes will be immediate.

Mike Becker, a senior at Vermont Technical College and a Dufresne-Henry employee, has recently been named Student Engineer of the Year by the college.
VTC selects one student each year for this honor as part of National Engineers Week. Becker was selected based on his grade point average, performance on projects, and overall willingness to learn and assist his fellow students. He was recently honored at an awards banquet hosted by the Vermont Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies at the Sheraton in South Burlington.
Becker is a senior at VTC who will earn his B.S. in architectural engineering technology this May. He has been working for Dufresne-Henry as a computer-aided design and drafting, or CADD, technician since 2000, when he completed a B.A. in visual arts at Marlboro College. He currently lives in Brattleboro but grew up in Springfield.
