New Publisher Hired for Vermont
Life Magazine
MONTPELIER, Vt. – A publishing
industry veteran has been selected as the new publisher of Vermont Life Magazine.
Tom Kelly became the publisher and
chief executive for the award-winning publication effective June 26, according
to Kevin Dorn, Secretary of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development,
which oversees Vermont Life’s operations.
“We couldn’t be more
pleased to have attracted someone of Tom Kelly’s caliber for this new
position,” Dorn said. “Over the last 20 years Tom Slayton as editor
has done an incredible job in making Vermont
Life one of the most respected state publications in the country,
and he has been doing yeoman work in serving as both editor and publisher.”

BURLINGTON, Vt.--Vaughn A. Carney, director of legal services at Bombardier Aerospace Structured Finance in Colchester, and Michael Metz, president of Michael Metz & Associates in Charlotte, have been named to the Board of Trustees of Champlain College.
Carney, a resident of Essex, Vt., is a member of the Vermont, Washington and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is on the board of directors of E-One Holdings, Cathedral Square Corp. and the Vermont Rainbow PUSH Coalition. He is also a lector at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Carney earned a bachelor's degree at Colgate University and a law degree at Harvard Law School.
Metz, a resident of Charlotte, Vt., is a business development consultant. He serves on the boards of Magic Hat Brewing Co. and MRA Labs. Hes also on the board of Burlington City Arts and the Burlington City Arts Foundation. Metz earned a bachelors degree at Middlebury College and an MBA at Columbia University.

replace A. Wayne Roberts, who will be retiring at the end of the year.

28th June 2006, Though the operating system is much more advanced than earlier versions of the Mac OS, it still has the same ease-of-use that people have come to expect from Apple software.
The Macintosh interface was immediately popular with non-technical people. Instead of typing in a command to delete a file as in DOS, you could drag it to the on-screen trashcan. Although common today, it was a breakthrough to have such capability on a personal computer.
The Mac has also used consistent menus, and Apple-published guidelines for application design are generally followed. In operation, the operating system and applications are almost indistinguishable, and Apple has always kept technical jargon to a minimum. The Mac's graphical ability made it a natural for graphics shops and desktop publishing. It might have been slow, but it was far more affordable than the workstations used for such purposes.

24th June 2006 ,No doubt. Since they retain the hardware specs, and therefore, a lock on the hardware on which Jaguar will run, they've done a great job at making said hardware sleek, modern, and fancy. They've done a lot of work to make the computer look like a futuristic device.
My Mac Book under load runs up to 95 degrees Celsius, or 203 degrees Fahrenheit. It isnt rocket science to understand that is extremely hot, easily hot enough to
