Isotech was awarded a Navy contract for design and development of approximately 700 next generation dry block temperature calibrators . After successful field evaluations and performance data from the early delivery orders, the Navy has placed new delivery orders in large quantities.

Vermont State Police The northbound travel lane of Interstate 89 just past the Williston exit will be closed for an extended period following a dump truck that crashed into the South Brownell Road overpass Wednesday morning, Aug. 18, 2021. Inspections are underway for damage to the bridge and the highway. No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle wreck.

Leahy, the Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, included a request for $750,000 to support child care expansion in Bennington in his 2021 Congressionally Directed Spending requests. The third dose for immunocompromised individuals is available now but only those who have received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines may get a third dose. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine has not been approved for a booster. The CDC is expected to have further guidance as early as September on the general population receiving a booster, perhaps including the J&J shot.

Vermont Business Magazine The foundation of Vermont Adaptive’s new $2.5 million adaptive sports facility at Sugarbush Resort’s Mt Ellen is in, and the first walls are installed, setting the stage for an anticipated grand opening of this state-of-the-art facility for the Winter 2021-2022 ski and snowboard season. The organization still has about $400,000 left to raise for the Sugarbush project.
