Emma Scott, former associate director of the Food Law and Policy Clinic at Harvard University, has been appointed director of the Food and Agriculture Clinic at Vermont Law and Graduate School.
In her new role, Scott will work alongside CAFS faculty to oversee the development of the clinic’s seminar programs and experiential learning opportunities. She will also teach courses on farmworkers and the law.
“We are honored to welcome Professor Scott to our team,” said center director Laurie Beyranevand. “Her knowledge of food law and policy, dedication to equity and passion for creating impactful hands-on learning opportunities make her an invaluable addition to our faculty and a perfect fit to lead the Food and Agriculture Clinic.”
Scott is a magna cum laude graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and earned a law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
