VHB is pleased to announce Jenny Austin, PE has joined the Transportation Engineering group in its North Ferrisburgh, VT office. Jenny most recently worked for Resource Systems Group (RSG) in White River Junction, where she focused on transportation design and planning, traffic studies and analysis. Jenny, a resident of Stockbridge, VT, is a UVM graduate and was named Vermont Young Engineer of the Year in 2009. Jenny’s experience in planning and design of transportation projects ranges from roadways, sidewalks, intersections, corridor studies, and village improvements. Her qualifications include all aspects of preparation of design plans, bid document preparation, quantity and cost estimation, preparation of traffic impact studies and scoping reports, and project management and coordination with the client. Jenny has an abundant knowledge of the VTrans Local Transportation Facilities (LTF) process, and her addition to the staff will assist VHB in the pursuit of municipal and other highway and traffic opportunities. Jenny is currently working on two VHB transportation projects in Brandon, VT, where VHB is serving as the Local Project Manager, the St. Albans Multi-Modal Connector project, a roadway and traffic calming project in Jericho, and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Project.
