Daryl Kenny of Bennington has been named Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont. In her new position, Kenny will develop, implement and evaluate a yearly calendar of activities and programs for and with alumni. She will be responsible for providing ongoing customer service and enhancing relationships between alumni and SVC and will act as liaison between the college and the Alumni Association Board of Directors. In addition, Kenny will coordinate annual giving solicitations to all college constituents, including alumni, friends, businesses and parents.
Before joining SVC, Kenny was the Director of Advancement at the Bennington Center for the Arts (BCA). Prior to BCA, she was the Assistant Director and Conference Coordinator at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and Marketing Director at Oldcastle Theatre Company in Bennington.
Kenny has thirty-six years of experience as a professional actress, producer and director. She is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.
Kenny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Theatre Arts/English from the State University of New York in Cortland.
