Fast-growing technology services provider Systems Management Planning (SMP), has expanded into the New England area with the addition of Suzanne Garrity as an account manager based in Burlington, VT. Garrity will deliver IT solutions to businesses in the Northern New York, Connecticut and Vermont regions.
Garrity joins SMP with over 25 years of systems and software engineering experience. Most recently, Suzanne spent more than eight years as a collaboration specialist, technical lead and project manager for Cisco. Prior to Cisco, Garrity held technical marketing and senior systems engineering positions at Sarvega, Cosine, Xedia, Shiva and HP.
For SMP, Garrity will work with New England businesses to develop solutions in the areas of end user computing, networking, data center and collaboration. As an SMP account manager, Garrity will be able to offer technology products, along with professional, managed, and consulting services that focus on areas from virtualization and data center transformation to networking, unified communications and storage. Garrity will work with customers in the education, health care, commercial, finance and government sectors.
Garrity has achieved a number of honors in her technical career including both Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration and Cisco Transformative Architecture Specialist certifications. She was also named a Cisco sales achiever, as part of the top team in the US commercial sector. Garrity is a native of Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Computer Science/Math and Spanish at the University of California, Davis. Garrity lives in Burlington, VT with her husband, Roger Garrity, as well as their three children and numerous pets.
