NRG Systems names technical support manager

NRG Systems, Inc., manufacturer of wind measurement equipment for the global wind energy industry, announces the promotion of long-time employee, Julia Austin, to the position of technical support manager.
Austin is one of the company’s longest serving employees, having joined the company in 1991. She has served in many roles throughout her tenure: production, sales, marketing, and for the last five years, technical support where she worked with customers deploying NRG Systems’ products. In her new role, she will oversee the technical support department and product training, and serve on the company’s department managers’ team.
“Julia has been an incredible asset to our company, which is why I am so pleased to make this announcement,” said Barton Merle-Smith, NRG Systems’ director of marketing and sales. “Few people understand our products and customers better than Julia – we value her wealth of knowledge and expertise.”
Austin received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont. Outside of work, she enjoys playing music, snowboarding and gardening.
