Dr. Helene M. Langevin, former director of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, will join the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Vermont in early 2026 to shape the center’s mission-driven research efforts.
Langevin's appointment at UVM marks a return to familiar ground. She previously served as director of the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, jointly based at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, and as a professor of neurological sciences at the Larner College of Medicine, where she founded UVM’s Program in Integrative Health in 2005.
“We are honored to welcome Dr. Langevin back to UVM,” said UVM President Marlene Tromp. “Her deep experience in integrative health research and her national leadership will continue to build on the strong foundation already established by UVM’s Osher Center and strengthen its impact across the Uuniversity and the field.”
