Grafton Village Cheese today announced the appointment of Sabrina Kliman as Food Safety Supervisor. Grafton Cheese produces award-winning aged Vermont cheddar and specialty cheeses and is a mission-driven business of the nonprofit Windham Foundation.
In her new role, Kliman is responsible for maintenance of all food safety and quality programs for Grafton Cheese's facilities in Grafton and Brattleboro. As a member of the plant management team, she actively engages with plant management and plant personnel regarding plant operations and processes, especially those related to quality assurance and policy.
Prior to her appointment at Grafton Cheese, she served as a senior quality control lab technician at Shire Human Genetic Therapies in Massachusetts, and worked in the Water Division at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. For the past two years, Kliman served with AmeriCorps*VISTA in Denver, Colo. and Racine, Wisc. focusing on fighting poverty within the US through service.
Kliman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Skidmore College. Originally from Massachusetts, she is now residing in Southern Vermont.
