Vermont Association of Realtors has selected TPW’s Alison Cummings as Vermont Realtor of the Year for 2018! This statewide award honors Realtors who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership as real estate professionals and as active members of their community. Alison, Managing Broker at TPW Real Estate in Stratton, is a member of the South Central Vermont Board of Realtors® (SCVBR). In June, she was chosen as the SCVBR Realtor of the Year.
Serving locally on the South Central Board of Realtors since 2015, Alison was elected in 2017 to serve as Vice-President of the Vermont Association of Realtors®. She currently serves as the Association’s President and has been actively involved in VAR’s Futures Task Force and the VAR Government Affairs Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the New England Real Estate Network (NEREN). Alison comments “Serving as part of the South Central and the State leadership teams has truly been an honor. I have learned so much from this experience and feel so fortunate to have met many committed Realtors who are striving to uphold the integrity of this business."
Her peers have defined her as honest, genuine, committed and a professional who demonstrates the highest level of integrity. TPW Real Estate’s Principal Broker Annie Bessette commented, “In addition to Alison’s professional achievements, she continues to unselfishly give to our local communities and organizations. We are grateful to have her on our team”.
Alison is a Certified Ski Instructor for the Professional Ski Instructors Association with credentials as a Ski Examiner and Advanced Children’s Educator. She volunteers for Neighborhood Connections, a community-based organization that provides a range of social services and health-related programs for individuals and families in south-central Vermont. She is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity. She also serves as a Lister in the Town of Windham and is the town’s Zoning Administrator.
Alison spends her free time skiing, or at home in Windham, VT, where she and her husband Chris are renovating their 1700’s farmhouse.
