The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region has announced the hiring of Caitlin Gates as the Real Rutland concierge coordinator. Concierges provide housing and career advice to individuals seeking to relocate to Rutland County to launch a business.
Prior to joining CEDRR, Gates worked at state parks in both Vermont and Utah, immunology labs, farms, pottery studios and nonprofit organizations. This breadth of work experience has given her a deep appreciation for the people and resources that Rutland County has to offer.
Gates continues to work part-time as a veterinary assistant. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biological science.
