Brian Dunkiel to present at the Vermont Law Review 13th Annual Symposium

For attorneys, law students and greater community members looking to explore disclosure laws in a variety of industries, on September 27, 2013, the Vermont Law Review will host its 13th Annual Symposium entitled “The Disclosure Debates.” Taking place in the Chase Community Center at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, this day-long symposium will include a presentation from Brian Dunkiel called “Are Consumers the New Environmental Regulator?” Dunkiel is a co-founder of the Burlington-based law firm Dunkiel, Saunders, Elliott, Raubvogel & Hand and focuses on green marketing, agriculture, food products, corporate social responsibility and more.

The symposium panels will address a range of issues including Environmental Laws & Disclosure, Financial Disclosure Regulations, Food & Product Labeling and a debate on Campaign Finance Disclosure. Dunkiel’s presentation will explore the role of the regulators that protect consumers from marketing deception and if they are setting environmental policy.

The Disclosure Debates is open to Vermont Law School faculty and staff, Vermont and New Hampshire attorneys seeking CLE credit, community members and the greater public.
