Blue Cross VT names Beth-Ann Roberts as next president and CEO

Beth-Ann Roberts, president at Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network, has been selected as the next president and CEO at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, effective Jan. 10, 2026. Roberts will join Blue Cross VT as CEO-elect on Nov. 10, ensuring a smooth two-month transition with current President and CEO Don George, who will retire on Jan. 9, 2026.

A respected and passionate leader, Roberts has built a distinguished career through her ability to bring people together, drive growth strategies and lead health care organizations through complex challenges. She is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and holds an MBA from Boston University.
