The Vermont Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Charles Martin has joined the staff as Government Affairs Director.
Charles will work to coordinate member engagement on legislative issues and lobby on behalf of the Chamber’s membership to further policies that address the needs of Vermont businesses and employers. Previously, he worked for US Senator Patrick Leahy in both DC and Vermont, and the member-based National Guard Association of the United States as part of their legislative advocacy team in DC. He also serves in the Vermont Army National Guard as an intelligence officer and information operations instructor.
A native Vermonter, Charles is a graduate of Norwich University and currently lives in Huntington with his wife, Lindsay.
