Jessica Lasher, former director of financial operations at VEIC in Winooski, has joined United Way of Northwest Vermont as chief financial officer. In this new role, Lasher will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance-related activities of the organization.

Lasher is a licensed CPA in Vermont and a graduate of Champlain College. She currently serves on the boards at Community Health Centers and the Energy Co-op of Vermont.
