Four nurses at Southwestern Vermont Health Care — Laurie Darby, Adrienne Gigliotti, Jennifer Harrington and Jaime Wiley — were recently honored for embodying the four dimensions of a Magnet Center for Nursing Excellence: transformational leadership; innovation and new knowledge; structural empowerment; and exemplary professional practice.
“The nurses we are honoring are noted standard-bearers within the organization,” said Pamela Duchene, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. “We are grateful for their extraordinary work, which together in cooperation with nurse and physician colleagues, makes SVHC the health system it is.”
