PPNNE welcomes new board member Goldberg

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) welcomes Eli Goldberg of Winooski, VT, to its Board of Trustees. He joins Board Members throughout Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire, including Vermont-based Board Members Dr. Felicia Kornbluh, Melinda Moulton, Tabitha Pohl-Moore, Kesha Ram, and Steven Sinding.

“Eli brings a wealth of experience in reproductive and sexual health care to our Board of Trustees, and we’re so fortunate that he will joining us to advocate for the rights of every community Planned Parenthood serves,” said Meagan Gallagher, President and CEO of PPNNE. “Eli’s previous work with Planned Parenthood and his ongoing efforts to promote patient care that is inclusive for all communities mesh perfectly with our mission to provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education.”

Eli Goldberg is a fourth-year medical student at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, and looks forward to providing comprehensive, inclusive reproductive health care as a future family physician. Prior to medical school he was a clinic assistant at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette in Portland, OR, and he has worked and volunteered in sexual health outreach in a number of settings, including the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Oberlin College Sexual Information Center. He is also an educator and advocate for transgender inclusion in healthcare, and in 2017 he received an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for transgender community-building in collaboration with the Pride Center of Vermont. A graduate of Oberlin College, Eli currently lives in Winooski, VT with his husband.
