NBT Bank President of New England Matt Durkee announced that Financial Consultant Sean Grattan has been promoted to vice president. He is a member of NBT’s Wealth Management team and is located at the bank’s Vermont Regional Headquarters at 150 Bank Street in Burlington. As financial consultant, Grattan assists clients in the pursuit of their financial goals utilizing his experience in investments, insurance, retirement plans and the overall financial planning process. He provides customers in northwestern Vermont with access to financial and insurance products through NBT Financial Services and LPL Financial.
Grattan has 13 years of financial services experience. Before joining NBT Bank in 2010, he was a financial advisor for TD Bank in northern Vermont for five years. Prior to this, he was an investment advisor at Burlington-based Chittenden Bank for two years. He is a resident of Essex and has a bachelor’s degree from St Michael’s College. He holds licenses in life, accident and health insurance. Grattan is FINRA series 7, 63 and 66 registered with LPL Financial and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
