Mortgage Industry Veteran Joins National Bank Of Middlebury

G. Kenneth Perine, President of National Bank of Middlebury, announced that Michelle Shambo, a 19 year veteran in the Mortgage industry, has recently joined NBM in a role as a Community Lender.
Since 1998, Michelle has been originating residential mortgage loans for Addison County residents. Her expertise in the mortgage industry and ability to listen to her customers’ needs in order to match them to the best available mortgage product are her calling cards to success. “It’s great to have a local, seasoned professional like Michelle on our team,” said Ken Perine, “Michelle joins us in our mission to serve Vermont communities, something our bank has done since 1831.”
As a multi-winner of the Top VHFA Producer Award for Addison County, Ms. Shambo also earned her Certified Mortgage Professional designation from the Vermont Mortgage Banker Association in 2006.
Michelle believes in NBM’s mission of building communities. She serves as Board Member on Porter Hospital Auxiliary Board, Treasurer and Board Member for the Youth Safety Council of Vermont, and is also a member of the Addison County Board of Realtors and Addison County Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Shambo resides in Middlebury with her husband Ted and her two teenage boys.
