Lovett of RRMC’s Foley Cancer Center chairs Breast Cancer Treatment Panel at national conference

Richard Lovett, MD, Radiation Oncologist with Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Foley Cancer Center recently chaired a Breast Cancer Treatment Panel at the 60th annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) held in San Antonio, Texas. The focus of the discussion was radiation oncology for breast cancer. Dr Lovett was joined by fellow panelists, of Dr Jennifer Harper Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Jean Wright, Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Johns Hopkins University, and Dr. Gary Freedman Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, Perlman School of Medicine.

Dr Richard Lovett joined the staff at Rutland Regional Medical Center in 1990, and is an Associate Professor of Radiology at University of Vermont , Larner School of Medicine. Last year, Dr Lovett was awarded the position of a Fellow of ASTRO, one of 23 physicians designated a fellow in 2017.
