Stowe institution Edelweiss Mountain Deli announces that Vermont native and former Vermont Chamber of Commerce Vermont Chef of the Year, Christian Kruse, has joined the culinary team as Executive Chef.
Christian is a graduate of New England Culinary Institute and formerly served as Executive Chef at Basin Harbor Resort & Boat Club in Vergennes, VT. His unique culinary experience began with his family and the many remarkable foods that flowed from their Filipino, Danish and French-Canadian heritage. Working in New York, Salt Lake City and Seattle influenced his culinary skills in a substantial way, allowing him to create flavor combinations that impart original and unique qualities to dishes that reflect his local, seasonal, contemporary and eclectic culinary philosophy.
