The 39th Annual Creativity Awards has named Mark Sylvester as the Platinum winner in the Creative Firm, Self-Promotion, Single Unit Category. The 'Cirque du Quirk' promotional piece was a collaboration between Sylvester and Boston-based photographer Bob Packert.
The 39th Annual Creativity Awards received thousands of entries from 37 countries and 37 U.S. states. The competition showcases work from around the globe in the Annual Book published after the close of each year's competition and sold in bookstores around the world. This year, judges from some of the United States' most prestigious design firms evaluated the work produced by their peers and students.
'Cirque du Quirk' is an example of putting together the right creative team, communicating a vision for the shoot, and letting everyone play their part to the best of their ability.' says Sylvester. 'The photos, typography and materials all come together to create a unique promotional piece for all involved.'
Mark and Lisa Sylvester formed Interrobang Design Collaborative in 1997. Interrobang's clients range from local Vermont businesses like Switchback Brewing Co., Summit Wealth Group, Nova Natural Toys and Crafts, and the LivingFuture Foundation to international companies like LPA Design, makers of PocketWizard products, Women of Wind Energy and Madison Performance Group.
