Howard Center honors long-time employees

Howard Center leadership and board members recently honored 46 long-time staff members at an annual celebration at the Burlington Country Club. The anniversary event celebrated employees for ten-plus years of contributions to Howard Center.

Those honored for 20 years included Wendy Aiken, Craig Davis, Lisa Dennis, Jess Fox, Michelle Phelps, Kristie Reed, Hanna Wagner, and Jacqueline White.

Beth Goss, Director of Clinical Services for Developmental Services; Laurie Lovering, Billing Specialist; and Jacqueline Luce, Residential Instructor, were recognized for 25 years of service.

Celebrating 35 years of service were Pascal Cheng, Education and Communication Specialist; Terry Hayden, Community Support Program Team Coordinator; and Paul Landerl, former Community and Residential Treatment Director and current Security Officer at the Chittenden Clinic.

Additionally, among those honored, 20 staff were recognized for ten years of service and 12 staff for 15 years of service.

Chief Executive Officer Bob Bick thanked staff for their commitment and dedication, saying, “Each day, the work you do makes a lasting difference in our community and to the people we serve. Today, it is my honor to join with our board members, leadership team, and your colleagues to thank and celebrate you.”

First Call for Chittenden County, Howard Center’s mobile crisis service relies on one team and one number, 802-488-7777, to meet the needs of those in crisis. Clinicians offer phone support, intervention, in-person assessment, and referrals.
