Howard Center leadership and board members recently honored 46 long-time staff members at an annual celebration at the Burlington Country Club. The anniversary event celebrated employees for ten-plus years of contributions to Howard Center.

Those honored for 20 years included Wendy Aiken, Craig Davis, Lisa Dennis, Jess Fox, Michelle Phelps, Kristie Reed, Hanna Wagner, and Jacqueline White.

Beth Goss, Director of Clinical Services for Developmental Services; Laurie Lovering, Billing Specialist; and Jacqueline Luce, Residential Instructor, were recognized for 25 years of service.

Celebrating 35 years of service were Pascal Cheng, Education and Communication Specialist;  Terry Hayden, Community Support Program Team Coordinator; and Paul Landerl, former Community and Residential Treatment Director and current Security Officer at the Chittenden Clinic.

Additionally, among those honored, 20 staff were recognized for ten years of service and 12 staff for 15 years of service.

Chief Executive Officer Bob Bick thanked staff for their commitment and dedication, saying, “Each day, the work you do makes a lasting difference in our community and to the people we serve. Today, it is my honor to join with our board members, leadership team, and your colleagues to thank and celebrate you.”

Last year, Howard Center helped 16,000 people in over 60 locations and four counties with their mental health needs, substance use conditions, and developmental disabilities. Howard Center is a funded agency of the United Way of Northwest Vermont. Help is here.

In addition, Howard Center’s 24/7/365 crisis and stabilization programs serve all Chittenden County residents—children, adults, and families.
