Heritage Family Credit Union names new president/CEO

Christopher Gomez, former senior vice president and chief experience officer at Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in upstate New York, has been named president and CEO of Heritage Family Credit Union, which serves members in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts. Gomez will succeed Matthew Levandowski, who is stepping down after eight years at the helm.

“The board of directors is very excited to welcome Chris to Heritage Family Credit Union as our next president/CEO,” said board chair Kevin Loso. “He is committed to providing world-class service and value to our members, and we look forward to the continued success and growth of Heritage Family under his leadership.”

Prior to working at Mid-Hudson Valley, Gomez served in senior positions at Visions Federal Credit Union in New Jersey, Bank of America in New York's Hudson Valley, and the London-based financial services and banking organization HSBC. He is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York.
