Dr. Dan Ambrus has joined the Rutland Heart Center, bringing new electrophysiology services to the Rutland region. As an electrophysiologist, Ambrus can diagnose and treat disorders of the heart’s electrical system.
In his new role, he will diagnose, treat and supervise complex arrhythmia cases. He will also implant pacemakers and defibrillators and perform the generator changes for these devices.
“The skills and expertise that Dr. Ambrus brings to the Rutland Heart Center team will further expand access to care and reduce patient wait times, enabling patients to be seen sooner and close to home,” said Dr. Stanley Shapiro, medical director of the heart center at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
