Dawn LeBaron, FACHE, Vice President Operations at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vermont received the American College of Healthcare Executives Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recently at the ACHE Program at the VAHHS Annual Conference held at the Equinox in Manchester, VT.
The award was bestowed on Ms. LeBaron by Jill Berry Bowen, FACHE, ACHE’s Regent for Regent 1 and CEO of Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Vermont. The Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE members who are experienced in the field and have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.
Members are evaluated on leadership ability; innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession; leadership in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities; participation in civic/community activities and projects; participation in ACHE activities; and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.
LeBaron started with Fletcher Allen Healthcare in 2000; she was promoted to Vice President, Operations in 2004.
LeBaron is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence. She is an active member on the Lund Board where she has served as chair of the building and ground committee as well as their site relocation committees. She serves in a leadership role on the Vermont Department of Health Senior Advisory Committee. LeBaron also currently serves on the NNEAHE Board and their Advancement Committee where she proactively provides her time and talent to serve her fellow members.
