Adams elevated to president/executive director at Billings Farm & Museum

The Woodstock Foundation has promoted Michelle Adams from executive vice president to president and executive director of Billings Farm & Museum, effective Sept 19.

In her new role, Adams will oversee the operations of the farm and museum, including finance, administration, public relations and marketing. With a mission of inspiring and engaging generations through shared stories of Vermont’s rural culture and the farm’s continued practice of responsible agriculture, Adams will strive to elevate the guest experience and engagement with the farm and museum.

“I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Michelle over the past three years. She’s an outstanding leader who has contributed significantly to the farm’s success over that time,” said foundation President David Simmons. “This well-earned advancement speaks to her many talents, leadership skills, ability to motivate teams and her respected profile within the Woodstock community.”

Prior to joining Billings Farm & Museum in 2019, Adams served as spa and wellness director at the Woodstock Inn & Resort. She also oversaw the Woodstock Athletic Club, a 42,000-square-foot club serving community members and resort guests.

Adams is a graduate of SUNY Empire State College and holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She currently serves on the board of the International Spa Association.
