The Vermont Historical Society has hired Kristin Dodge as the Development Officer to enhance fundraising for preserving, exhibiting, and sharing Vermont’s historical artifacts and documents. She will establish connections to contributors in Vermont and beyond to help the Society maintain its mission as a nonprofit organization committed to reaching a broad audience through collections, statewide outreach, and dynamic programming.
“Kristin comes to us with 13 years of experience at Norwich University,” VHS Development Director Jane Campbell said. “We are pleased to have such a qualified staff member who can assist our donors with their philanthropy.”
Kristin shared, “As a lifelong Vermonter, I look forward to using my fundraising skills for the Society and to help more Vermonters explore the history of the Green Mountain State.”
The Vermont Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that operates the Vermont History Museum in Montpelier, the Leahy Library and Vermont Heritage Galleries in Barre, and programming throughout the state. Established in 1838, its purpose is to reach a broad audience through outstanding collections and statewide outreach.
