Lincoln White, former president of the Burlington information technology services firm Pyrabyte, has been named chief information officer at Vermont Federal Credit Union.
"As our credit union continues to expand, it is crucial to enhance our technological capabilities, and we firmly believe that Lincoln will play a pivotal role in achieving these goals," said CEO and President Jean Giard.
White began his professional career as an electrical engineer in the Army. After returning from military service, he led technology and business teams at several corporations and startups, including Green Mountain Energy, MyWebGrocer, Vermont Gas, Seventh Generation and, most recently, Pyrabyte.
White has been a member of the Colchester School Board and an adjunct professor at Champlain College. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and holds an MBA from the University of Vermont.
