John Toney, Vermont’s chief information security officer, has been appointed as a visiting fellow by the National Security Institute at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School. As part of that role, he joins NSI’s Cyber & Tech Security Council.
Toney’s invitation to the council underscores his recognized authority in the cybersecurity landscape. His role will involve collaborating with leading professionals to drive innovations in cyber defense and security technologies.

Toney’s appointment as a visiting pellow will enable him to contribute to national security initiatives while fostering a stronger partnership between the public and private sectors in the fight against cyber threats.
