The Automaster has announced that Matt Shanks, Mercedes-Benz Senior Sales Consultant and Business Manager, has been honored with the highest award given by Mercedes-Benz; the Sales Laureate Award.
The award, which requires numerous qualifications including the dealership itself being ranked among the top 50 percent of Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the United States, was presented to just 36 Master Certified Sales Consultants in the U.S.
“We couldn’t be more proud of Matt,” said Dale Fillion, General Manager at The Automaster. “He is a consummate professional with one of the highest Customer Satisfaction Index ratings for Mercedes-Benz in the entire Country. Matt embraces and embodies The Automaster Mission, which includes ‘masterfully delivering the ultimate luxury automotive experience from sales to service’,” Fillion expanded.
Shanks received the award on the cusp of his 10-year anniversary with Mercedes-Benz, of which he has served the past 4 with The Automaster.
“I’m very proud of this award,” Shanks stated. “It seems fitting to have received that on my 10-year anniversary and is a testament to the fact that the quality of the customer experience is truly our focus here at The Automaster,” said Shanks.
As a reward for a job well done, Mercedes-Benz flew Shanks and the other Sales Laureate recipients to Germany for a 7-day tour of Europe from September 20 to September 27, to better understand the German culture and its influence on Mercedes-Benz design and performance. Among numerous destinations, Shanks spent time at the Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.
