Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) is pleased to welcome Mary Kate Mohlman, Vice Chair of CVHHH’s Board of Directors and Montpelier resident, as honorary chair of its annual fall appeal. Donations to CVHHH’s fall appeal can be made through CVHHH’s secure online portal at www.cvhhh.org or by calling CVHHH’s development department at 223-1878.
In her letter to Central Vermonters, which was mailed before Thanksgiving, Mary Kate writes about how CVHHH cared for her grandfather at his home in Woodbury. She recalls the “skilled, compassionate nurses and personal care attendants” who made it possible for her grandfather to live comfortably and happily in his own home. In addition, Mary Kate comments on what makes CVHHH’s care delivery model unique: “CVHHH’s clinicians and visiting staff literally meet people where they are. They do this by bringing medical care, education, and support to people of all ages in the comfort and safety of home.” Mary Kate closes her letter with a note about the importance of CVHHH’s COVID-related work, which included caring for COVID-positive Central Vermonters, administering COVID-19 vaccines and tests, and partnering with local EMS crews. “Staff never wavered in their dedication to ensuring Central Vermonters’ needs were met.”
Mary Kate is an advocate for CVHHH’s work, and CVHHH is appreciative of her ongoing support. Please join Mary Kate and give today to CVHHH’s fall appeal at www.cvhhh.org.
