Easterseals Vermont and Easterseals New Hampshire recently presented Family Engagement Assistant Leanna Aldrich with the organizations' 2024 President's Meritorious Award for her exemplary dedication to upholding the agency’s mission and values.

Aldrich, who works in Easterseals Vermont's Williston office, accepted the award Nov. 6 at the organizations' joint annual celebration in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was one of 40 staff employees nominated for the annual honor.

“When we were reviewing nominations, there was one that really rose above for me, and that was Leanna’s,” said Maureen Beauregard, president and CEO of the Vermont and New Hampshire offices.

As a member of Easterseals Vermont's Child and Family Support Services team, Aldrich collaborates closely with the state Department for Children and Families to help and protect children suffering from abuse, neglect, bullying, and insufficient help and understanding. Easterseals Vermont's Williston office recently transformed spare office space into a one-stop shop for families in need to take advantage of a wide range of free essential items, from nonperishable foods and household supplies to clothing, hygiene products and more.
