Gabe Porter-Henry, a two-decade veteran of the ski and outdoor industries, has joined Burke Mountain Resort as general manager. He succeeds Tom Day, who had served as interim general manager since June.
For the past decade, Porter-Henry has worked at Berkshire East Mountain Resort. Involved in all aspects of the operations, he held numerous leadership positions at Berkshire East as well as its affiliated companies, Zoar Outdoor in Charlemont, Massachusetts, and Big Red Cats in Rossland, British Columbia.
During his tenure, Porter-Henry managed Thunder Mountain Bike Park, served as general manager of Berkshire East and most recently, led Zoar Outdoor Adventure Resort. Over this period, the resort has transformed into one of New England’s premier year-round adventure destinations.
