Wendy Rowe, former housing advocate at the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Development, and Sarah Hudak, a former eighth grade language arts teacher in Denver for the past six years, have joined HomeShare Vermont as case managers.
Rowe will work in Grand Isle, Franklin, Chittenden and Addison counties, and Hudak will serve the central Vermont counties of Lamoille, Washington and Orange. Hudak's position was made possible thanks to increased funding from the state of Vermont.
HomeShare Vermont is a nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive screening and matching service to people who have a home to share and others looking for a place to live. As part of their responsibilities, the new staffers will interview and screen home-sharing hopefuls, working with hosts and guests to create a successful match.
