Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce the election of three new members of our Board of Directors: Jacob Hinsdale, a graduate of American University, is Property Manager of Hinsdale Properties, which leases commercial and residential space in Chittenden County; Katie Glover, CPA, graduated from the Honors College of UVM and also received her Masters of Accountancy from UVM. She is a manager of Johnson Lambert, LLP, a nationally certified public accounting firm and Jess Phelps, an attorney with Dinse Knapp & McAndrew where he is a member of the real estate/environmental practice group. Prior to moving to Vermont, he was an attorney with the USDA’s Office of General Counsel, Natural Resources and Environment Division.

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity builds homes for local, low-income working families who are living in substandard rental housing in Chittenden County. The families purchase the perpetually affordable and energy efficient homes at cost and pay an affordable mortgage payment. All funding to purchase the land and materials to build the homes must be raised locally. For more information about Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity, please visit
